Miley Cyrus wraps up in lilac fur coat at the pre-Grammy Clive Davis party

She has become well known for her outrageous stage antics and preference for extremely revealing outfits.

But Miley Cyrus looked positively demure as she stepped out at the Clive Davis pre-Grammy party at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills on Saturday night.

The 21-year-old We Can't Stop singer sported a lilac furry coat over a slinky white Calvin Klein dress teamed with strappy white high heeled sandals, while her platinum hair looked a lot less edgy and was worn in a flattened more conservative look.

Ozzy Osbourne was joined by wife Sharon and daughter Kelly, who will be in place at the Grammy arrivals on Sunday as part of E!'s red carpet coverage of the awards show. 

At one point, the Fashion Police star stopped to hug friend Swift after their photocall - while later in the ballroom, she was spotted laughing uproariously with her old friend Miley. 

The purple haired star wore a rather striking emerald green long sleeved gown which contrasted with her purple bob, while mother Sharon sported a plunging black lace floor length number.

Her father Ozzy added to the purple theme with round mauve tinted sunglasses and a long purple coat over a black top and his trademark crucifix necklace.

Kelly seemed delighted to have her family with her at the event, although there was no sign of her brother Jack.

And if the 55-year-old actress' message wasn't clear enough, her outfit certainly was, as she hosted A Healthier & Better LA at A Better Thrift Shop in Huntington Park, California on Wednesday.
Sure to be seen, the Casino star arrived in a red shirt, bright yellow trousers, vivid orange scarf, and flashy green shoes.

She topped off her look with a neutral grey sweater, but even her make-up coordinated her eye-catching ensemble.
Looking lovely as always, Sharon punched up her pout with cherry lipstick and pronounced her long lashes, as her shoulder-length locks flowed in loose tendrils.
She hosted the event to help educate others on importance of ABLA's successful gang prevention and intervention, community development and empowerment efforts.

ABLA has been 'identifying at-risk community outreach workers and their families who currently do not have healthcare coverage, helping them register, and providing their annual premium for one year,' according to the organization's site.
Wednesday's launch was their first kind of this effort to bring health care to at-risk communities, and it's success was vital if doors are to be opened.

And Sharon was certainly suited for the host position, as just last month, the Basic Instinct star was presented with a lifetime achievement at the film festival in Morocco.

'Sharon is brilliant, extremely talented, fearless, charming, funny and absolutely wild, and she’s a true star,' Martin Scorsese  - who was this year's jury president - gushed.

'When she walks in a room the energy changes,' he added.
