Cate Blanchett has always been known for her down-to-earth Aussie values and humility.
And the Oscar-winner proved she's still as modest as ever as she made light of winning Best International Lead Actress at the 3rd Annual Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Awards on Friday night.
'I'm Australian, so I guess it was a done deal,' she insisted as she took to the podium at West Hollywood's famed Sunset Marquis Hotel to accept her gong. 'All I had to do was show up.'

The 44-year-old was rewarded with the trophy for her outstanding performance in Woody Allen's Blue Jasmine, which is nominated for two Golden Globes at this Sunday's ceremony - including Best Performance By An Actress In A Motion Picture - Drama for Blanchett.
The mother-of-three looked every inch the classic movie star in her tea length royal blue gown, which featured a sheer long-sleeved bodice and flirty fishtail skirt.
She matched the colour perfectly to her peep-toe stilettos, which were adorned with pretty gold embellishment.
The understated star completed her look with gold drop earrings and wore her platinum blonde locks pulled back in a chic chignon with a side-swept fringe.
