Teri Hatcher looked anything but desperate as she turned out to support the UCLA Head and Neck Surgery Luminary Awards in Beverly Hills on Wednesday.
This year's event was hosted by legendary Las Vegas entertainer Wayne Newton and Celine Dion was the headlining entertainment.
The event honoured musician John Mayer, A&M Records co-founder Jerry Moss and his wife Ann, and businessman James Bashor and his wife Dianne.
The 49-year-old Desperate Housewives star was dazzling in a red fitted dress at the event, which took place at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons hotel.
She paired her knee-length dress with lace cap sleeves with high-heeled black pumps that showed off her thin, toned calves and foot tattoo.
Hatcher carried a smart black clutch and her brown hair was styled in a wavy bob.
The night's most famous honoree, Mayer, looked sharp in a gray suit, white shirt, black shoes and blue tie.
His thick mane of hair was tousled, as usual but there was no sign of his girlfriend Katy Perry.
Aside from being honoured, he also performed at the event.
