Lindsay Lohan is ready for her close-up as she announces new film role

Lindsay Lohan has announced she will get another crack at film stardom during the 2014 Sundance Film Festival on Monday afternoon.

The actress looked radiant at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah on Monday, where she hosted a press conference to unveil her return to the big screen in independent movie Inconceivable. 

Lindsay, 27, will start shooting the new movie, which has a budget of just $5million in March and Lionsgate will be releasing the movie in limited theaters and VOD through its Grindhouse division.

Lindsay said: 'It’s nice to have someone like Randall give me the opportunity and put his faith and trust in me. It’s time for me to get back on set.'

Emmett/Furla Films chief executive Randall Emmett: 'The money was very easy because Lindsay is still considered a star among independent financiers,' 

'I went to the insurance company and they met with Lindsay,' he continued. 

'They put a policy in place where everybody worked together to make it happen. It was actually easier than you might think.'

She was wearing denim dungarees over a sheer black blouse with white polka dots, along with black leather boots and a matching coat and fedora.

Lindsay apparently spent a brief stint in the DJ booth and hung out with pals Julian Cavin and Ryan Rottman, celebrating with TAO at Village at The Lift with Moet & Chandon and Stella Artois.

The bash was the after party for the screening of Joe Manganiello’s new stripper documentary La Bare, and the man himself was certainly having a great time. 

Dressed in a red T-shirt, matching La Bare sunglasses and jeans, the True Blood star sipped champagne and cuddled up to model girlfriend Bridget Peters.

Bridget wore a ring on her engagement finger but as it was a silver bow design and not a diamond, it seems are no wedding bells ringing for the pair just yet.

Meanwhile The Descendants star Shailene Woodley went for a casual winter look in a white knitted jumper with a black tribal print on it, along with a brown beaded necklace and jeans.
