The Another Level singer and the beauty queen are engaged after enjoying a romantic holiday together in the run up to Christmas.
An excited Dane, 34 announced the big news on his Twitter page, telling his 80,000 followers that Sophia had made him ‘the happiest man alive.’

An excited Dane, 34 announced the big news on his Twitter page, telling his 80,000 followers that Sophia had made him ‘the happiest man alive.’
Romantic Dane planned a thoughtful proposal that saw him fly Sophia, 29, out to her favourite childhood holiday spot of Tenerife, before presenting her with a diamond ring.
With the proposal happening just before Christmas, Sophia added that she was excited to spend her first festive season as an engaged woman.
‘This Xmas is going to feel amazing... Such a special time anyhow but to have our Xmas as a newly engaged couple is really super lovely.’
Dane was previously married to his agent Chrissy Johnston but they split in May 2009, while Sophia is a mother-of-two, famously appearing nude while eight-months pregnant on the catwalk at London Fashion Week last year.
He is also father to 16-year-old son Kai, from a previous relationship during his school years.
Sophia has gone onto carve out a successful modelling career since becoming Miss Wales in 2000, appearing in music videos for N-Dubz, as well as posing for both UK and US Playboy.
While Sophia will be busy juggling wedding plans with her career and life as a mum of two boys, Dane will kept busy with his own new venture.
It’s been announced that the former boyband star is teaming up with other popstars of yesteryear to form a new group for hit ITV show The Big Reunion.
Dane will join Pop Idol star Gareth Gates, Corrie actor and singer Adam Rickett, Blazin’ Squad's Kenzie and solo act Kavana to form a new band, 5th Story, for next year’s Big Reunion series.
Eternal are also reuniting for the new series of the gripping show, although Louise Redknapp will not be a part of it, Easther Bennett, Vernette Bennett and Kelle Bryan have all signed up.
Another group to sign up are A1 while fellow boyband Damage are also joining the show, with Jade Jones, Andrez Harriott, Rahsaan J Bromfield, Noel Simpson and Coree Richards all getting in on the action.
Jackson family royalty, 3T, are also reforming with original members, Taj, TJ and Tayll Jackson.
Girl Thing have also signed up with Jodi Albert, wife of Westlife star, Kian Egan saying: 'This reunion for Girl Thing could be wonderful or it could be a nightmare.'
