After her teary tribute to idol Patsy Cline at the American Country Awards last week, LeAnn Rimes probably needed some cheering up.
The 31-year-old singer cut a slightly somber figure as she hit up the posh Barneys New York store in Beverly Hills on Wednesday.
Surprisingly the only outfit LeAnn managed to pull from what must be a huge colourful closet was a flowing black tank top, black leggings and high-top black trainers.
Judging by the single shopping bag, LeAnn had scored at least one purchase at the high-end department store.
LeAnn held back a grin as she strolled to her waiting car, her blonde hair falling limp around her shoulders.
She had managed to steal some much-needed time for herself during the crazed holiday season, and was probably on her way home to husband Eddie Cibrian.
On December 10, the Blue singer made a small spectacle of herself as she performed a tribute to the late country star Patsy Cline in front of a large audience.
Tears welled up in her eyes as LeAnn sang a medley of her idol's tunes, bringing her hands to her face at one point.
LeAnn's fourth studio album, which was released in 1999, was comprised of mosty Patsy Cline tunes including Crazy, I Fall To Pieces and She's Got You.
'I’ve just been compared to this woman, to Patsy Cline, for so many years. Since I was a baby,' LeAnn told Fox News of her personal connection to Cline.
'To be asked to do something like this on the fiftieth anniversary of her death... it means a lot, you know? I have a definite connection there that’s like no other.'
