Demi Lovato is rocker chic in studded leather jacket and satin trousers as she performs at Miami's Jingle Ball

She had a bit of a style overhaul in October when she dyed her tresses blue.
And since then Demi Lovato has been experimenting with her fashion choices and sporting distinctly edgier outfits.
On Friday, the 21-year-old looked every inch the rock chick as she performed at the 2013 Jingle Ball in Miami.

The star donned an all black ensemble consisting of skin tight satin leggings, which she teamed with a jacket sporting leather sleeves replete with studded details.
The petite star added a pair of black suede ankle length boots to her outfit, which added a boost of height to her 5ft 3in frame.
Demi's Smurf-like blue tresses and red pout added a dash of colour to an otherwise dark look.

Whilst performing on stage, the songstress wore several heavy chains around her neck but when she came off stage to take part in an interview the star removed the jacket and heavy jewellery.
Nonetheless, it seems the star has a penchant for leather as she revealed a fitted leather waistcoat worn on top of a long sleeved black top.
Ever the professional, Demi put on a showstopping performance for fans at the Miami concert brushing aside her anger about the 'humorous' X-Factor skit which she felt 'mocked her addiction'.
Later on the star took off her jacket to reveal a leather waistcoat worn over a black top

The seemingly light-hearted segment suggested that Demi had been drinking 'annoying juice' throughout the X Factor auditions, mocking her love/hate relationship with judge Simon Cowell.
The footage superimposed a green light over any drink that Demi had consumed in old footage.
But Demi - who has publicly spoken about her addiction issues - seemed visibly annoyed by the sketch and could be seen grimacing as host Mario Lopez introduced the segment.
Earlier this week Demi announced that she would be leaving The X Factor USA to concentrate on touring.
